Assora, previously known as Wonka Island, was reborn when new factions arrived after the cataclysm that struck Azeroth. Thanks to their great efforts the island has reblossomed, thrived and become once again one of the most important neutral hubs on the planet. However, the Wonka that previously inhabited the island completely disappeared after the destruction of their homeland. To date, it is still unknown if they became extinct, or if they recolonized somewhere else.
RENEGADES OF MARDUUM
Pursued by the Burning Legion, a group of demons and semi-demons have broken their ties with Sargeras and his immense army. Their leader, Kil’Vajash, is looking to further his limits and reach a brand new level of power to be able to combat the Burning Legion's forces. He is waiting for his chance to overthrow Sargeras and take his titanic power for himself. Recently, the Burning Legion has found a way to reach Azeroth, and has launched multiple invasions with the purpose of establishing a bridge between their demonic army and Azeroth. The Renegades of Mardum have seized this opporunity to get to our world and slowly diminish the Burning Legion's forces.
HEIRS OF OLYMPUS
After a long and fierceful battle against the forces of Kalathor and the late cataclysm that struck Azeroth, the members of the Black Lineage were left divided between the sacred territory that is Olympus, and the rest of the world. The members that were left scattered across Azeroth decided to reunite on one of the planets neutral hubs, Assora. They built a sanctuary with the hope that it would be blessed with the power of the Gods, and that they would be able to return to the sacred land of Olympus. A long time has passed since it was built, and most of the members eventually lost hope and gave up their mission. However, recently there has been a lot of strange activity surrounding the once worshipped and praised temple.
The Underworld represents the dark side of society, where magnates, assassins and smugglers enjoy pulling the strings of the world. The Faceless Brotherhood is by far the most feared of all those part of the Underworld. It is an organization of assassins and spies that undergo jobs far from the public eye. After the great Cataclysm that struck Azeroth, the Faceless Brotherhood took the opportunity to establish their base in a strange building that was uncovered from the depths in the Assoran Sea. They carry on doing shady business from the dark depths of the Island, however it is still unknown what their real objective is.
The Ancestors are entities that have transcended after having passed away from their mortal bodies. Their souls were judged after leaving the mortal world, and those who followed the path of peace and harmony were converted into Ancestors. Their mission is to fight for the future of Pandaria and it's people, by maintaining the balance of the forces of nature. The Hermits and their followers have erected a sanctuary on Assora that serves as a link to the Ancestral Chambers. These Chambers are sacred, and many gather to train, meditate, and worship the Ancestors while awaiting The Calling, to help fight against the Dark Forces.
STEAMCLANK & CO
The repair, spare parts, and high end technology company SteamClank & Co was founded by two tech scholars, Marin McSteam and Hermin Clank. These two geniuses shipwrecked in the ocean while on a well deserved holiday. Luckily, they drifted towards a small archipelago in the middle of the ocean. Unluckily, these island were inhabited by fierceful Naga. It was not an easy task, but with their savvy engineering skills and the left over materials that floated ashore, they managed to rid the Naga from the islands completely. They proceeded to recolonize the islands, naming them the SteamClank Archipelago. SteamClank & Co has become one of the biggest technological companies on the market, and is still thriving to expand.
The ancient order of the Archivists was formed centuries ago with the sole mission to hold the worlds secrets, to document and store the universe's complete history. During their time, the Archivists have culminated a vast amount of ancient knowledge and secret arts that to date, are under their sole protection. Throughout their long journey exploring and looking to further their knowledge, they arrived on Azeroth and decided to settle on Assora. This decision was made upon discovering some of the great mysteries Azeroth holds. The Archivists are still searching for and protecting the relics that define the history of Azeroth. However, with great power and knowledge comes great responsability, and danger from those who seek to obtain such ancient power...
